52 Ancestors Challenge: Week 33 Recap

52ancestors-week33The summer has flown by. Kids are already back in school and the days are noticeably shorter. Even the weather around here feels more like fall than summer. (I am not complaining about that!)

How’s the Challenge going for you? I will admit that I am horrendously behind — not a good thing for the challenge organizer to be!

I’m behind too. But trying to catch up. This week I have a two-fer, My great-great-grandparents on my father’s paternal side. Both immigrated to the United States as children with their families (John from Baden, Germany & Elizabeth from Ontario, Canada), and eventually settled in Burnside,Lapeer County, Michigan.
