Week 26. You know what that means — We’re halfway there!!
I had another crazy week of travel. I was home for six days before I had to head to Las Vegas for the American Library Association’s annual conference and then to San Francisco for a couple of days in the office. I almost opted not to post a recap again this week, but it’s the halfway point of 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks — how could I miss this recap?!
Though I didn’t miss the recap, I did miss posting my own ancestor… again. (sigh) I’m not setting a very good example.
Wishing everyone in the U.S. a very happy 4th of July! And here’s to the next 26 weeks of ancestors! May they be as full of discovery as the last 26!

Thanks for doing such a great job!
Hi, just wanted to mention that you misspelled my ancestor’s surname in the text for the link – it is Celmiņš, NOT Clemiņš. Thank you in advance for correcting it!
Sorry about that! I’ve corrected the text in the link.
I’m curious. How does one get their posts in your recap? I posted one on 6/25, 6/27, and 6/30 but none of them showed up.
Hi Lisa! Remind me which blog you have? (Sorry — I sometimes have a hard time remembering who has which blog.) I add the blogs to my list in Feedly and then look for the posts that have “52 Ancestors” in the title.

I admit, I’m a bit behind but I do hope to be caught up someday!
